“ I have been sketching since before I knew what art really meant. While I was good at studies, sketching, painting, and music were where I felt most alive.
When my father retired, my elder sister took charge of the family. Watching her, I stepped up too—teaching sketching at 17 to contribute in my own way. My sisters were academic stars. My elder sister and her husband eventually cracked government exams and became officers. While graduating in computer science, I was watching them earn that respect, and that influenced me. As I come from a background where stability mattered more than passion, it pushed me to prepare for civil services for multiple attempts. But I failed. Deep down, I knew it wasn’t my true calling.
I went back to freelancing and tutoring, even designing for local cafés. Randomly, I searched for a job in sketching—just to see if anything existed. Surprisingly, it did. I got my first job as a sketch artist with no relevant degree, just raw skill.
My journey as a designer started by borrowing laptops and learning software tools.Eventually, I became a full-time graphic designer and stayed in the role for three years. Things felt steady; then recession hit! My whole design team was laid off.
People urged me to change domains, but I didn’t—as my passion has been my only companion. I pushed through months of job searches and rejections. That’s when I kept clapping for myself when no one else did.
Then, I found Agivant.
For the past 10+ months, I have been building Agivant’s visual identity—growing every day under mentors who believe in me.
I don’t have fancy degrees or a perfect plan. My life has been built on trial and error. Everything I have today is earned, honest, and truly mine—authentic to my core.”
This is my story.
And I am proud to be a face of Agivant.
