Human-Centered
Design
Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach is followed to design products and services based on the understanding of needs, behaviors, and desirability of the end-users. The objective of HCD is to design solutions that are intuitive, easy to understand, simple to use, and meet the practical needs of the end users who will be employing them.
HCD is most relevant while launching new software products and services to ensure effective adoption by end users, as it makes certain that the final product meets the actual needs. The HCD approach starts by engaging with targeted end users to understand their needs, current challenges, and preferences along with a continuous feedback mechanism for refining the design during the evolution of the product or service.
