I wanted to become an agriculture businesswoman when I enrolled in the Agriculture Business Management (BBM Agri) degree. I successfully completed three years with a good CGPA, but in the fourth year, life brought challenges, especially related to the health of a close family member. The chances of their survival were very low, and that period taught me how to make difficult decisions about career, priorities, and dreams.
I completed my degree with a good CGPA, but I understood that being present for my family was more important at that time. These experiences gave me clarity that I could not pursue my original dream then.
I started working in the sales and marketing department of a company, and my journey began with a very different kind of experience. I learned a lot about market competition, different types of people, their thinking, and how to find my own way.
I quickly learned that a career path is rarely a straight road. I explored various fields and opportunities including agriculture direct sales and marketing, bank channel sales and marketing, educational counselling, career counselling, and recruitment and talent acquisition. Each one added a new chapter to my story.
After three years, I got the chance to join a recruitment team. Many employees asked if I had completed an MBA in HR. My answer was no, and because of that, some began to question how I would perform or adapt.
That was when I relied on my past experience. I was fortunate to have a supportive mentor, a strong leader, and helpful teammates. I learned quickly and started delivering strong results. Now, it has been seven years that I have worked in recruitment and talent acquisition. I enjoy what I do, I believe in this profession, and I am always eager to keep learning and growing.
From my earliest memories, I have always been drawn to the pursuit of knowledge and the challenge of turning dreams into tangible achievements. As an individual full of hope and ambition, I immersed myself in learning new things, not just from books but from every encounter and experience life offered. Each challenge and unexpected twist became a stepping stone that taught me the value of family, money, self-worth, and patience.
This is my story.
And I am proud to be a face of Agivant.
