I come from a lower-middle-income family. For a long time, I wasn’t chasing anything big — mostly because I wasn’t fully aware of the realities of the world. However, one incident changed everything. One day, my mother took me to her office. I was aware that she had taken a job as a peon for my upbringing. I saw how hard she had to work to provide me with a decent livelihood and education. That day changed me significantly.
I wasn’t academically strong, but I had one goal: To make my mother happy by ensuring that I could stand on my own and earn enough for a decent living. I pursued a graphic design course and spent hours learning through tutorials — often losing track of time and even skipping sleep.
That dedication helped me build my first portfolio, and almost two years after graduation, I landed my first job. That first break gave me confidence, and from there, I never looked back.
I don’t call myself a great designer — just a decent one, trying to improve every day. By God’s grace, I have had supportive mentors and colleagues in my professional career. Their encouragement has played a big part in my journey. Today, when I look back, I feel proud of how far I’ve come. And when my mother smiles and says, “Just believe in God and try your best — good things will eventually happen,” …deep down, I know she’s right.
This is my story.
And I am proud to be a face of Agivant.
